The Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims and a guide for mankind. Every Muslim is required to study and understand the contents of the Qur'an. Learning to read the Qur'an requires attention to tartil. Tartil is the ability to read the Qur'an slowly by paying attention to pronunciation, tajwid and understanding its meaning. Learning to read the Qur'an at the Assu'ada Mosque with the Qiroati method in Tartil is an important approach in religious education that aims to improve the quality of reading the Qur'an. The Qiroati method in Tartil emphasizes reading the Qur'an slowly, clearly, and carefully adhering to the rules of tajwid. This study explores the implementation of the tartil method in the context of assessing its effectiveness in developing children's Qur'an reading skills. With this approach, it is hoped that children can read the Qur'an correctly, understand the meaning of its verses, and gain deeper spiritual and educational benefits.
