Juvenile delinquency refers to deviant behavior exhibited by adolescents, which can have negative impacts on their personal, social, and academic development. One effective approach to addressing this issue is through the use of cognitive restructuring techniques. The application of specific techniques in group counseling is necessary to optimally develop the potential of adolescents. This community service activity aims to equip training participants with the ability to conduct group counseling sessions effectively using cognitive restructuring techniques. The methods used in this activity include lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises in applying cognitive restructuring techniques in group counseling to address juvenile delinquency. The target audience for this activity is junior high school guidance and counseling teachers in Siak Regency. To assess the success of the activity, pre-tests and post-tests are administered before and after the training. The use of cognitive restructuring techniques in group counseling is a strategic step that has the potential to enhance the competencies of Guidance and Counseling teachers in managing adolescent behavior positively and effectively. This community service activity adds to the knowledge, understanding, experience, confidence, and commitment of Guidance and Counseling teachers to use cognitive restructuring techniques in implementing group counseling in schools.Published
