Abstract

This article discusses learning innovations through digital literacy simulations implemented at SMPN 1 Lemah Abang. Through this approach, students are expected to be able to adapt to developments in information technology and improve their digital literacy skills. Digital literacy helps a person's ability to understand, evaluate, and utilize information through various digital media. In an educational context, digital literacy includes technical skills in addition to the ability to think critically, collaborate, and communicate in a digital environment. Digital literacy allows students not only to receive information but also to actively participate in the understanding process through exploration and interaction with digital content. Technology-based learning is in accordance with the constructivist approach, which utilizes technology as a tool to encourage students to learn independently and think critically. This research uses a simulation method that involves students in reading through the digital platform provided. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in students' digital literacy skills.
