Computer-Based National Assessment Simulation to Improve Computer Skills and Understanding of Grade 5 Students of SDN 2 Cipeujeuh Kulon

Abstract

The Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) simulation was carried out to improve the understanding of grade 5 students of SDN 2 Cipeujeuh Kulon regarding the use of computers and preparation for ANBK. This activity was motivated by the limited technological infrastructure in schools and the low technical understanding among teachers and students. The method used was direct practicum using laptops, including basic computer training and ANBK simulation. The training was held on September 2-5, 2024, consisting of presentations, computer usage practices, and discussion sessions. Evaluation was carried out using a questionnaire to measure student understanding. The results showed that students were more prepared and able to operate ANBK features, especially in using applications such as Microsoft Word. This activity succeeded in improving students' skills in computer technology and their readiness to face ANBK. The purpose of conducting KKN in the village was to carry out community service and help improve the education of the village children, especially in supporting the Computer-Based National Assessment program, which in fact elementary school students are not yet familiar with computers.
