Abstract

The problem of low student learning participation in class 5 of SD Negeri 1 Karangmalang is the focus of this community service activity. This activity aims to increase student learning participation through the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model. Activities are carried out using participatory methods, involving teachers and students in the planning and evaluation processes. The activity stages include: (1) Identification of problems with teachers, (2) Training on the use of the TGT model for teachers, (3) Implementation of the TGT model in the classroom, (4) Observation and documentation of implementation, and (5) Evaluation of results. Based on observation results, the application of the TGT model was able to increase student learning participation, which can be seen from student enthusiasm in learning activities as well as an increase in the average student worksheet score of up to 96.67. The TGT model which involves students in games and competitions has proven to be effective in creating a fun learning atmosphere and increasing student activity. Therefore, this activity makes a real contribution to improving the quality of learning at SD Negeri 1 Karangmalang and is expected to be implemented on an ongoing basis.
