Education plays a crucial role in shaping the direction and future of the younger generation. The results of the Problem Checklist (DCM) conducted at SMPN 1 Greged indicate that career orientation is one of the dominant issues faced by students. Therefore, the Student-Centered Learning approach is a relevant choice in a learning approach capable of intervening in students' actual needs. This study implemented DCM-based Student-Centered Learning in developing the career orientation of junior high school students. The method used was descriptive qualitative with an approach through a series of participatory learning activities, reflection, and multimedia-based classical services using various methods. The implementation results showed an increase in student engagement in the learning process, awareness of interests and talents, and a better understanding of appropriate educational and career choices. The advantage of this approach is its ability to connect students' real problems with interactive learning strategies, although it requires more intensive guidance. Overall, this study confirms that the integration of SCL and DCM analysis can be an effective alternative in helping junior high school students develop career orientation, as well as contributing to strengthening the role of secondary education as a foundation for future career readiness.
