Abstract
This community service aims to analyze the understanding and pronunciation of the hijaiyah letters among children in Leuwidingding Village. Through a qualitative approach, this community service was carried out in the Leuwidingding Village Islamic Boarding School Block by involving asatidzah, children, and parents as informants. Data collection was carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of the community service show that the improvement of understanding and pronunciation of the hijaiyah letters in the community has been ongoing, but there are still some obstacles. Learning the hijaiyah letters such as studying the Qur'an and memorizing the 30th chapter of the Qur'an has been applied in daily activities, but children's understanding of the pronunciation of the hijaiyah letters still needs to be improved. In addition, the role of parents in guiding children in learning to read the Qur'an at home is also very important. This devotion concludes that more systematic and sustainable efforts are needed to optimize the improvement of understanding and pronunciation of the hijaiyah letters in society, both through learning activities, habituation, and cooperation between families and the community.
