Abstract

Ethics in the use of technology is a must so that everyone is smart in using digital media.

For this reason, literacy on the massive use of digital media is a priority. Digital literacy is not

just the ability to find, use and disseminate information, but requires the ability to make

information and critical evaluations, the accuracy of the applications used and an in-depth

understanding of the information content contained in the digital content. On the other hand,

digital literacy includes the responsibility of any information dissemination that is carried out

because it involves its impact on society. Some juvenile delinquency that is often carried out in the

digital world, one of which is the spread of hoaxes. Through community service activities, digital

literacy is carried out with the aim of increasing understanding and intelligence of internet ethics

(Nettiquette) students of SDN 1 Susukan Tonggoh. By understanding digital ethics, students are

expected to be able to realize, exemplify, adapt, rationalize, consider, and develop digital ethical

governance (netiquette) in everyday life. This is important so that they are able to prevent the

spread of hoaxes and their consequences.
