This article discusses the tradition of reading the Book of Al-Barzanji in Karang Mekar Village as a form of commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The Book of Al-Barzanji, by Sheikh Ja'far Al-Barzanji, contains the story of the Prophet's life in beautiful prose and poetry. This tradition has many blessings, especially during the month of Maulid. In this village, the reading of this book has become an annual ritual carried out in local mosques, accompanied by the chanting of salawat and group prayers. This topic was chosen because it is a tradition of Indonesian society but is starting to be abandoned by the younger generation and not many of the younger generation have the ability to read the Al-Barzanji Book and preserve it. This service method includes socialization, preparation, implementation of activities, training for the younger generation and evaluation of discussions. The results of this activity made the people of Karang Bloom village become more religious and the young people of the village became able to read the Book of Al-Barzanji. It is important to continue and preserve this tradition because it is believed to bring blessings to people's lives. Apart from being a form of worship, reading the Book of Al-Barzanji strengthens ties and teaches the importance of imitating the morals of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
