Peran Penting Pola Asuh Orang Tua Terhadap Pertumbuhan Anak Dan Remaja Di Desa Karangmekar Kecamatan Karangsembung

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase understanding and awareness of parents in Karangmekar Village regarding the importance of appropriate parenting patterns in supporting children's growth and development, both physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. Based on Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection which has been updated with Law Number 35 of 2014, parents have an important role in providing protection and education to children. This activity is carried out through observations and interviews with parents and teenagers in local villages to understand the parenting patterns implemented and their impact on children. The results of the activities show that democratic parenting, which is characterized by two-way communication and emotional support, is more effective in building independence, responsibility and achievement in children and adolescents. Through this activity, parents are expected to be able to adopt parenting patterns that better support optimal child development, both in the family and community environment.
