Sosialisasi Dan Pelatihan Pengolahan Ikan Lele (Stik Lele) Kepada Ibu-Ibu PKK Di Desa Karangmalang Kecamatan Karangsembung

Abstract

Karangmalang Village, Karangsembung Sub-District has the potential for land-based fish development, including catfish farming and has been successful in cultivating catfish. The high production of catfish farming in Karangmalang village has not been accompanied by the emergence of processed food products from Catfish. Community service activities in the form of socialization and training on making Catfish sticks were carried out to PKK mothers in Karangmalang Village, Karangsembung District. The purpose and benefits of this service activity are 1). Provide knowledge that supports the ability of PKK mothers in processing skills and catfish product development. 2). To help improve the economy and welfare of families and communities through home industry Catfish sticks. The methods used in the service activities are 1). The observation stage is the stage of data collection to understand the conditions and potential locations that will be used as a place of activity, as well as identify various factors that can affect the success of the activity. 2). The socialization stage is to provide an understanding of the purpose and objectives of the activities to be carried out and provide material. And explain about processed products (Catfish sticks). 3). The training phase is to provide direct training practices using tutorials on how to make processed products, namely Catfish sticks. The result of this service activity is an increase in the knowledge and ability of the mothers of PKK members in Karangmalang Village, Karangsembung Sub-District in processing catfish into catfish sticks.
