Abstract

The Outdoor Games Activity outreach program was conducted to enhance physical literacy in early childhood in Indramayu Regency. The goal of this activity was to provide PAUD (early childhood education) teachers with an understanding of the importance of physical activity-based games in supporting children's motor development. The program was held on May 27, 2024, at Gedung Dakwah Muhammadiyah Indramayu, involving 53 PAUD teachers as participants. The method employed included theoretical sessions, group discussions, and simulations of simple physical games that can be applied in schools. The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the concept of physical literacy, as evidenced by pre-test and post-test results, as well as observations of participants' engagement during the game simulations. Despite some challenges related to the limited facilities in some schools, the teachers successfully modified the games to suit the available conditions. This program provided practical solutions for increasing children's physical activity while emphasizing the importance of continued support for implementing outdoor games in the educational environment. It was concluded that the program successfully achieved its intended goals and can be further developed with follow-up training and infrastructure support.
