Sosialisasi Bijak Penggunaan Gadget Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Gadget use among elementary school students is increasing and has the potential to have negative impacts if not accompanied by adequate understanding and supervision. This outreach activity aimed to educate students at Halimpu 1 Elementary School about the wise use of gadgets and to raise awareness of the importance of managing time and content when using technology. The methods used in this activity included delivering material through visual media (PowerPoint), interactive quizzes, and a drawing lab on the theme "The Dangers of Gadgets." The results showed that students responded positively and actively participated in all activities. The visualization of the material helped improve understanding, while the interactive quizzes encouraged more enthusiastic student participation. The drawing lab served as an effective evaluation tool for creatively assessing student understanding. Furthermore, several students began to demonstrate courage in discussing and sharing their personal experiences related to gadget use, reflecting a change in attitude and initial awareness. Thus, this outreach activity successfully achieved its goal of increasing students' understanding and developing a wise attitude towards gadget use. It is recommended that similar activities be conducted regularly and involve the support of teachers and parents for ongoing guidance.
