Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has had an impact on life, especially on children. Changes in lifestyle are unavoidable. One of the problems in this digital era is the emergence of social media and unlimited access to information, which can affect the formation of children's character and morals. And this is where the role of Islamic schools (madrasah diniyah), as Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions that focus on religious education and Islamic character building, has a central role as a moral fortress. The method used in qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that children have an understanding of how to face the digital era practically, guided by good morals.
