This study aims to determine the Position of the Determination of Suspects Against the Investigation Period in the Object of the Pre-Trial Lawsuit. This study is a normative legal study that uses document studies in the form of secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the Position of the Determination of Suspects Against the Investigation Period in the Object of the Pre-Trial Lawsuit becomes a legal effort as a Respondent in the Pre-Trial which can be filed by the suspect, the suspect's family, or a person authorized by the suspect's family to the District Court when they find an action that is not in accordance with the provisions and procedures contained in the Criminal Procedure Code, the Pre-Trial is filed because of the actions of the Investigator who carries out coercive measures in the form of arrests, detentions, confiscations, and searches that are not in accordance with the procedures and provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code. The Pre-Trial protects the rights of the suspect to test and examine the truth and accuracy of the coercive measures taken by the investigator and the Public Prosecutor in matters concerning the accuracy of arrests, detentions, termination of investigations and prosecutions as well as compensation and rehabilitation.
