The training on fermented feed production for ruminants was conducted as an effort to enhance farmers' capacity in utilizing agricultural waste into high-quality feed. The main problem faced by farmers is the limited availability of forage during the dry season and the lack of knowledge about alternative feed technologies. This activity aimed to improve farmers’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes through counseling, training, and mentoring approaches. The implementation methods included initial observation, technical training, practical feed fermentation, and result evaluation. The outcomes of the program showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge and skills, along with the emergence of independent feed production initiatives. Additionally, feed cost efficiency and livestock performance also improved. This activity contributes to the development of sustainable livestock systems based on local potential and can be replicated in other similar regions
