Abstract

The background of community service is the high volume of waste and the lack of environmental awareness becomes a serious problem, including in the school environment. Which requires an urgent need for holistic and continuous education management education at the elementary school level. This community service aims to implement an integrated waste management program in SDN 2 Durajaya, which includes education about the introduction and sorting of waste, the practice of organic waste processing using composter, and the follow -up of greening. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, involving students, teachers, and school staff. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The program shows a significant increase in students' understanding of waste management. The practice of making compost succeeded in producing fertilizer used for planting trees in the school area, growing a greener and beautiful environment. This program not only succeeded in reducing the volume of waste, but also instilling the character of environmental care and social responsibility in students. This service model proves that practical and integrated environmental education effectively shapes positive behavior and creates a real impact on the school environment.
