Abstract

The advancement of digital information technology has brought significant changes to various sectors, including the forestry sector. In this modern era, agroforestry enterprises no longer rely solely on physical labor and traditional methods, but have entered the era of technology-based forestry. Information technology offers great opportunities for farmers to increase productivity, efficiency, and the competitiveness of forest farmers' agricultural products. In 2023, Perhutani launched the digital platform Socio Forest (SF), an application that functions to monitor work processes and enhance communication between farmers and other State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs); however, its development has not been accompanied by adequate human resource capacity and quality. Agroforestry is one of the land management systems that functions both productively and protectively in maintaining biodiversity, a healthy ecosystem, water and soil conservation, and enhancing food security.  The involvement of forest farmers plays an important role in forestry development, so empowerment is needed to enhance the capacity of individuals and groups to achieve independence. The Community Service (PKM) activities aim to improve the knowledge and skills of forest farmers regarding the socio-forest digital platform, so that farmers can increase agroforestry productivity. The PKM activities were carried out in August 2025 at the Sinar Makmur Forest Farmers Group (KTH) in the Forest Management Unit (BKPH) Jasinga Leuwiliang, under the Bogor Forest Management Unit (KPH). The implementation methods included socialization, counseling, demonstrations, training, and mentoring. The results of the PKM are: an increase in knowledge about the socio-forest digital platform by 72%, an increase in interest in the socio-forest digital platform by 75%, and satisfaction with the socio-forest training implementation at 77%.
