Pengenalan Teknologi Komponen Komputer, Internet Pintar, Aplikasi Edukasi di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 Desa Patapan

Abstract

This community service program was conducted at SD Negeri 01 Patapan, Beber District, Cirebon Regency, with the aim of improving digital literacy among elementary school students from an early age. The program focused on introducing basic computer components, promoting the safe and smart use of the internet, and utilizing simple educational applications to support learning activities. The activity was implemented using a participatory education method, in which students not only received theoretical explanations but also engaged in direct practice through demonstrations and interactive sessions. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ ability to recognize computer components and understand their functions. Students also became more cautious in using the internet, understood the importance of maintaining privacy, and were able to identify useful and reliable websites. Moreover, the introduction of educational applications increased students’ learning motivation and engagement. The main obstacles encountered during implementation were the limited number of computers and unstable internet connectivity. Overall, this program proved effective in developing basic digital literacy skills among elementary school students and provided an essential foundation for promoting technology-based learning in rural areas.
