About the Journal

Coastal communities are an inseparable part of natural wealth and national and state life. The cultural diversity, local wisdom and wealth of natural resources owned by coastal communities are valuable assets that need to be preserved, developed and utilized sustainably. In the context of the Society 5.0 era which offers technological and humanitarian breakthroughs, the challenges and opportunities for strengthening coastal communities become increasingly relevant. This seminar was initiated to be a vehicle for discussion, exchange of ideas and enlightening knowledge regarding efforts to strengthen coastal communities in facing changing times. Through cross-disciplinary collaboration, it is hoped that this seminar can become a bridge connecting stakeholders, academics, practitioners, and all parties who care about the future of coastal communities.
