However, many pre-service teachers still face challenges in applying Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), especially in field-based contexts such as the teaching practicum (PPL) course. This study aims to describe the PCK profile of physics education students based on the five components of the Magnusson framework, while also addressing the research gap that has mostly focused on experienced teachers. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach, involving seven students who were assessed through microteaching observations using an instrument based on PCK indicators. The results show that students scored highest in the components of instructional strategies and curriculum knowledge, while the components related to students’ understanding and assessment received relatively lower scores. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening pedagogical dimensions that focus on student thinking and formative assessment. The study concludes that teacher education curricula should be developed in a more integrative, contextual, and explicit manner to comprehensively build PCK competencies. This research contributes to improving the quality of physics teacher education and informs education policy development rooted in reflective teaching practice

Keyword: Pedagogical Content Knowledge, physics education students, microteaching, Magnusson_framework, teaching practicum.
Nur Habib Muhammad Iqbal Fanni Zulaiha Copyright (c) 2024 Nur Habib Muhammad Iqbal, Fanni Zulaiha https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2024-09-30 2024-09-30 8 1 144 151 10.52188/jpfs.v7i2.1182 Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbantuan Praktikum Terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa Pada Materi Elastisitas dan Hukum Hooke https://journal.unucirebon.ac.id/index.php/jpfs/article/view/1170
This large population results in high levels of electrical energy consumption. So far, the supply of electrical energy is still dominated by fossil energy, where fossil energy reserves are increasingly depleting and can result in environmental pollution. One of the renewable energies is solar energy. Solar energy can be utilized to become a solar power plant, it can be applied to buildings. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the potential of solar energy in the ITSNU Pekalongan area. An analysis of solar energy potential can be done by calculating the roof area using GIS. Based on research results, the largest global irradiation value is in a north direction of 4880 kWh/m2/day. Meanwhile, the smallest global irradiation value is at a south direction of 4198 kWh/m2/day. The number of solar panels that can be installed on the roof is 1262 units. These solar panels have the potential to produce peak power of 378,721 Wp or 378,721 kWp daily. This peak power can be converted into energy of 1,893,606 Wh, or 1893,606 kWh, daily.
Abdul Hakim Prima Yuniarto Yuni Lestiyanti Alfin Najib Indanah Copyright (c) 2025 Abdul Hakim Prima Yuniarto, Yuni Lestiyanti, Alfin Najib, Indanah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-03-31 2025-03-31 8 1 29 35 10.52188/jpfs.v8i1.1159 Development of IoT-based Physics Parameter Monitoring system (PPMs) for Skin Cancer Education and GEM Learning https://journal.unucirebon.ac.id/index.php/jpfs/article/view/1150
Physics learning often faces challenges in visualizing abstract concepts such as electromagnetic waves, especially ultraviolet (UV) light. This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of IoT-based Physics Parameter Monitoring System (PPMs) of UV as a medium for skin cancer education. The system consists of GUVA-S12SD sensor, DHT11, Wemos D1 ESP8266, and Blynk platform for real-time data visualization. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method of the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The feasibility test by experts showed that the LKPD scored 85.25% and the UV PPMs 80.75%, both in the very feasible category. Implementation on class XII students increased active participation (80%) and concept understanding (up 15%). The results showed that PPMs UV can be used in interactive learning, helping students understand the relationship between UV rays and skin cancer risk, and developing data analysis skills. However, limitations such as limited research coverage, measurement accuracy under extreme conditions, and Wi-Fi connectivity stability still need to be improved. Future research is recommended to develop additional features, testing on a wider scale, and integration with data storage systems to increase the effectiveness of the tool in learning and environmental monitoring.
Siti Nala Farihah Copyright (c) 8 1 Effectiveness of ESD Integrated E-Module for Renewable Energy Materials to Improve Students' Critical Thinking Abilities https://journal.unucirebon.ac.id/index.php/jpfs/article/view/1146
Pendidikan untuk Pembangunan Berkelanjutan berfokus pada penyebaran informasi, transformasi sikap, serta perubahan perilaku.
