Penelitian ini mengisi bayangan pada kajian ketelitian eksperimen berdasarkan perbandingan nilai teoritis dan empiris pada tiga jenis logam: aluminium, baja, dan kuningan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis tingkat ketelitian penentuan kalor jenis menggunakan metode kalorimeter melalui pendekatan perbandingan langsung antara hasil eksperimen dan referensi teoritis. Metode dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan pencampuran kalorimeter dengan pengukuran massa serta perubahan suhu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai kalor jenis aluminium sebesar 887,7 J/kg°C, baja sebesar 463,1 J/kg°C, dan kuningan sebesar 395,2 J/kg°C. Nilai ketiga tersebut sangat mendekati nilai teoritis, mengindikasikan bahwa metode ini memiliki ketelitian yang tinggi. Perbedaan kecil antara hasil empiris dan teori menunjukkan adanya kehilangan kalor pada sistem semi terbuka, namun tidak mempengaruhi validitas hasil secara signifikan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa metode campuran kalorimetri merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dan akurat untuk karakterisasi termal logam.</span></span></p> Rahma Aulia Rohana Adam Malik Copyright (c) 8 2 Pengaruh Frekuensi terhadap Respon Tegangan pada Rangkaian Seri R-L http://journal.unucirebon.ac.id/index.php/jpfs/article/view/1795 <p><span dir="auto" style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span dir="auto" style="vertical-align: inherit;">Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh frekuensi terhadap respon tegangan pada rangkaian seri R–L, sebuah permasalahan penting mengingat banyaknya aplikasi sistem AC yang membutuhkan pemahaman tentang distribusi tegangan pada elemen resistif dan induktif. Meskipun teori menyatakan bahwa kenaikan frekuensi meningkatkan reaktansi induktif, penelitian sebelumnya belum banyak menguji fenomena ini melalui praktikum berbasis data eksperimen langsung, sehingga muncullah penelitian secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perubahan tegangan pada resistor, induktor, dan tegangan total akibat variasi frekuensi. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen laboratorium dengan mengukur VR, VL, dan Vtotal pada frekuensi 100 Hz dan 500 Hz menggunakan generator audio, resistor, kumparan, serta voltmeter AC. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa VR cenderung menurun, VL sedikit menurun, dan Vtotal tetap relatif stabil pada kedua frekuensi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa perubahan frekuensi memberikan efek paling signifikan pada komponen induktif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman praktis karakteristik rangkaian R–L dalam aplikasi pendidikan dan rekayasa.</span></span></p> Dini Nursari Anjani Havita Santana Putri Robby Firmansyah Vinia Apriliani Maulidah Muhammad Nurullah Adam Malik Copyright (c) 8 2 Kecepatan Rata-Rata Analisis Kecepatan Rata-Rata Benda pada Variasi Ketinggian Bidang Miring dalam Praktikum Mekanika http://journal.unucirebon.ac.id/index.php/jpfs/article/view/1785 <p>Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji keterkaitan antara variasi ketinggian bidang miring dengan kecepatan rata-rata benda pada kegiatan praktikum mekanika dasar. Fokus permasalahan penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana perubahan ketinggian bidang memengaruhi besar kecepatan rata-rata yang dicapai benda. Metode yang digunakan berupa eksperimen sederhana, yaitu dengan mengukur waktu tempuh benda yang meluncur pada tiga variasi ketinggian bidang miring (rendah, sedang, dan tinggi) dengan jarak lintasan tetap sepanjang 0,5 meter. Setiap percobaan diulang sebanyak lima kali untuk memperoleh data waktu yang kemudian digunakan dalam perhitungan kecepatan rata-rata. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, ditemukan bahwa peningkatan ketinggian bidang miring menyebabkan bertambahnya kecepatan rata-rata benda. Nilai kecepatan rata-rata masing-masing diperoleh sebesar 0,29 m/s pada bidang rendah, 0,32 m/s pada bidang sedang, dan 0,42 m/s pada bidang tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar energi potensial gravitasi suatu benda, semakin tinggi pula kecepatan yang dihasilkan saat benda bergerak menuruni bidang miring. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara ketinggian bidang miring dan kecepatan rata-rata benda dalam gerak lurus.</p> Tera Tera Adam Prof. Adam Devira Devira Rizqa Rizqa Rahma Rahma Copyright (c) 8 2 Study of Heat Transfer and Determination of Specific Heat Capacity of Metals http://journal.unucirebon.ac.id/index.php/jpfs/article/view/1777 <p><em>The study of heat transfer and the determination of specific heat capacity of metals aim to understand how thermal energy is exchanged between materials and to quantify the ability of different metals to store heat. In this experiment, the principle of calorimetry was applied to measure the specific heat capacities of various metals by observing the temperature changes when heated samples were immersed in water. The data obtained were analyzed using the law of conservation of energy, assuming negligible heat losses to the surroundings. Results showed that metals with lower specific</em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>heat capacities, such as copper, heat up and cool down more rapidly compared to metals with higher values, such as aluminum. These findings highlight the importance of thermal properties in engineering applications where heat conduction and material selection play critical roles.</em></p> <p><strong>Keyword</strong>: <em>eat transfer, specific heat capacity, metals</em>.</p> Nova Khoirum Lestari Kelvin Marthin Saruning Muhammad Miftah Raihana Astagisa Adam Malik Copyright (c) 8 2 Perbandingan Energi Partikel Pada Kotak Potensial Tak Hingga dan Hingga (Simulasi PhET “Quantum Bound States”) http://journal.unucirebon.ac.id/index.php/jpfs/article/view/1747 <p>This study examines the comparison of particle energy in the infinite potential well and the finite potential well using the PhET <em>“Quantum Bound States”</em> simulation. The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences in energy levels, wavefunction behavior, and the number of bound states that can arise in both types of potentials. The method employed involves a simulation-based exploration by observing changes in eigenenergies as the well width and potential depth are varied. The results show that in the infinite potential well, particle energies are discrete and generally higher than those in the finite potential well for the same parameter conditions. In contrast, the finite well produces a limited number of bound states, with energy levels lying closer to zero due to the possibility of wavefunction leakage beyond the potential boundaries.
